I haven't seen Beverly Hills Cop, but after this review I'll definitely check it out. However (!) The Mummy?! I can understand how your love of Egypt and archaeology can make it more interesting, but I have to assume the anesthetic is still in effect :) I also liked Children of Men. I had such pathetic seats that I didn't get to enjoy the movie like I should have - and the fact that the scene where he's looking for the baby and mother was a single take is incredible, maybe I should check it out again but get there earlier.
